Dr. Schiller uses all the latest fillers to subtly soften aging lines beneath the eyes and around the mouth and cheeks. Restylane, Juvederm, Radiesse, and Sculptra are used to fill in hollows and raise and plump sagging cheeks. Results are seen immediately, and last between six months and two years depending on the product and location.

has used Botox, or botulinum toxin, for over 18 years around the
eyes for involuntary eyelid spasms, and for the past six years
for erasing wrinkles. It is highly effective for eliminating unwanted
crow's feet and frown lines without surgery. It can also be used
for some wrinkles at the corners of the mouth. When used properly,
the effects can be very subtle, and allow all the nuances of your
emotions to be expressed while decreasing the telltale signs of
age. With the right technique, this can make you look 10 to 15
years younger. The injections are given into the wrinkles with
a tiny needle, and the effects last from three to six months.

Laser
Skin Resurfacing
Laser skin
resurfacing is one of the most significant advances in facial
rejuvenation in years. The laser removes the surface layer of
the skin, and stimulates the deeper layers to create new collagen,
the basic structural protein of the skin. Blotchy pigmentation
is eliminated. Fine lines around the eyes and mouth are smoothed.
Deep creases and frown lines are softened and the appearance of
acne scars is improved. Once the skin's outer layer is removed,
the new skin beneath is softer, smoother, with a more youthful
appearance.
The procedure
is done in the office in the surgical suite with the computer-controlled
Ultrapulse CO2 laser under intravenous sedation and with
local anesthesia. Recovery from this procedure is longer
than with other cosmetic procedures, but for many the results
are so outstanding that it is more than worth the wait.
After eight to ten days, the skin is sufficiently healed
for cover-up makeup to be applied by our esthetician, and
you can resume your normal life. Some redness remains under
the makeup for a few weeks to a few months.
